Smart Cycling Instruction… by Jay Thatcher

Jay Thatcher cooperates with Corvallis Right of Way, Corvallis Parks and Recreation and other local agencies to teach skills for safe, effective and smart cycling on roads and streets. Jay is a League Cycling Instructor, trained by the League of American Bicyclists.

Jay offers lessons to groups or individuals. His specialties include teaching beginning riders, children, English language learners and cyclists with disabilities.

You can learn to:

∙ Stay comfortable in the weather.
∙ Enjoy the ride.

Home is in Corvallis, Oregon, with his wife and two great border collies.  His wife creates beautiful and useful things for homes.  The Corvallis-based son teaches Physics at Oregon State University. The other lives near Joseph, Oregon.
